Test and Trace Support Payments

A Test and Trace Support Payment, also referred to as a Self-Isolation Payment is a one off payment to help support people on low income who are unable to work and have a reduction in income because they are legal required to self isolate.

People who are eligible will receive a lump sum payment of £500.

Discretionary Test and Trace Support Payments

If you have been told to self-isolate and are on a low income, but don't qualify for a Test and Trace Support Payment you may be able to get help through the discretionary scheme.

If you do not meet the main qualifying criteria for a Test and Trace Support Payment but are experiencing exceptional financial hardship you my qualify for a Discretionary Test and Trace Support Payment

COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Grant

Maidstone Borough Council is running a temporary scheme to provide Emergency Assistance Grants for Food and Essential Supplies to support people who are struggling to afford essentials items due to financial hardship caused by COVID-19.

Kent Community Foundation

KCF have three Coronavirus Emergency Funds currently open - our Emergency Fund, offering organisations grants of up to £10,000, our Hardship Fund for families with children who have complex needs and our Emergency Bridging Loans, offering unsecured loans of up to £60,000 for charities, CICs and CIO with an immediate six-month payment holiday.
