REPORT OF THE STRATEGIC PLANNING, SUSTAINABILITY AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE TO BE HELD ON 19 JANUARY 2016

NORTH LOOSE NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

At the meeting of the Strategic Planning, Sustainability and Transportation Committee on 9 June 2015, a process was agreed for neighbourhood plans which required the Committee to recommend to Full Council that neighbourhood plans be approved for referendum as the final stage prior to adoption.

At its meeting on 19 January 2016 the Strategic Planning, Sustainability and Transportation Committee will consider the report of the Head of Planning and Development recommending that the Council be recommended to approve the North Loose Neighbourhood Development Plan (NLNDP) to proceed to referendum as the final stage of the neighbourhood plan preparation process prior to adoption.  The report of the Head of Planning and Development and the NLNDP are attached as Appendices A and B respectively.

The recommendation (if any) of the Strategic Planning, Sustainability and Transportation Committee will be reported orally to the Council at the meeting on 25 January 2016.
