considered in public, but the information contained therein should
remain private. However, should Members
wish to ask questions of the Officers about the advice, the public
should be excluded from the meeting because of the likely
disclosure of exempt information having applied the Public Interest
Test.
The
Chairman announced that he had been advised that he had
pre-determined the three Staplehurst applications. He did not think he had, but he accepted the
advice, and would leave the meeting when the applications were
discussed and the associated petition was presented. The Vice-Chairman would take the Chair in his
absence.
