1. ORIGIN OF REPORT
A petition was presented at the March meeting of this board for KCC to undertake a study to explore all opportunities for controlling and limiting traffic movement and inconsiderate parking.
2. PURPOSE OF REPORT AND EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this report is to provide members with a progress report on a petition currently being considered by KCC Highways, Transportation and Waste
3. WORK UNDERTAKEN
A meeting was held with the petitioner, Shernold School, Councillor Daley and KCC Officers to discuss the issues experienced and options available.
KCC has arranged for a speed survey to be carried out and will investigate waiting restrictions and traffic flow ideas.
4. AVAILABLE OPTIONS
KCC will provide a full report to the Joint Transportation Board in October.
