Stray dogs

We collect or seize any stray dogs found in the borough and keep them safe until they are claimed. If they haven’t been collected after seven days the dog will be re-homed.

To help us find your lost dog call us on 01622 602117.

Your dog may have been found by a member of the public who contacted us or may have taken it to a veterinary surgery.

If we have collected your dog we'll have taken it to a safe place. If your dog is being held at our nominated holding kennel you may need to pay costs to release them.
