Grass and hedges
We look after grass verges and hedges in our parks and open spaces.
What we cannot deal with
We cannot help if the grass or hedge is on:
- a Kent County Council Highway
- land owned by Golding Homes
- land owned by a housing association
- other privately owned land
Landowners are responsible for private land or gardens. To find out who owns the land, contact the Land Registry.
Tell us about a problem
You can tell us if you see grass or a hedge that:
- is overgrown
- is blocking a path or a road
- was missed during a cut
- is causing damage
- has been damaged
We cannot cut hedges between March and September due to bird nesting season.
We need to know:
- what the problem is
- where it is using the map or "What3Words"
- if you have any photos
