RESOLVED:
1. That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 7 December 2011 be approved as a correct record and signed.
2. That a report be brought to the next meeting by the Head of Democratic Services setting out the options for considering such cases in public and private session and reporting decisions, for full consideration by Members.

93. Review of a Private Hire Drivers Licence
The Committee considered the report of the Head of Democratic Services regarding action required in response to a notification received from the metropolitan Police with regard to a conviction for an offence under section 46 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 of using an unlicensed private hire vehicle.
94. Driver 1 Licensing Enforcement – Hackney Carriage and Private Hire
The Committee considered the report of the Head of Democratic Services regarding action required arising from an enforcement exercise carried out on 11 November 2011 by officers of the Licensing Section in relation to the illegal activity of Private Hire Vehicles plying for hire.
