13. Apologies for Absence
An apology for absence was received from Councillor Mrs Stockell.
14. Notification of Substitute Members
There were no Substitute Members.

There were no Visiting Members.

There were no disclosures by Members or Officers.
17. Disclosures of Lobbying
There were no disclosures of lobbying.
18. Exempt Items
RESOLVED: That the items on the Agenda be taken in public as proposed.
19. Minutes
RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 21 May 2012 be approved as a correct record and signed.
20. Nominations to Outside Bodies
The General Purposes Group considered the report of the Head of Democratic Services regarding nominations to Outside Bodies.
RESOLVED:
1. That the following nominations be approved:-
i) Councillor McKay to the KCC Youth Advisory Group with immediate effect and until 6 September 2013.
i) Councillor Mrs Parvin to the Relief in Need Charities with immediate effect and until 26 July 2016.
ii) Councillor Black as Substitute Member to South East Employers with immediate effect and until 22 July 2013.
iii) Councillor Yates to the Youth and Community Charity with immediate effect and until 6 September 2013.
1. That nominations continue to be sought for Kent County Playing Fields Association and Maidstone Sea Cadets.
