Pursuant to the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012, Regulation 11.

Notice is hereby given that the Cabinet Member for Housing and Health, Maidstone Borough Council, intends to make a key decision in respect of the matter outlined below.
The 28 days’ notice required by Regulation 9 of the above Regulations, alongside the rules for General Exemption under Regulation 10 of the above Regulations, are impracticable to be complied with for the reasons set out below. Therefore, notice is hereby given that the Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee has agreed that the making of the decision is urgent and cannot reasonably be deferred.

REASON THAT COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS 9 AND 10 IS IMPRACTICABLE
To allow for the decision to be made in the interest of efficiency.
