1.           List of s106 Contributions held by the Council

1.1        Reasons for Recommendation

1.1.1   At the Council meeting held on 23 April 2014 Cllr Moriarty asked the following questions of the Cabinet Member for Planning, Transport and Development:

1: Can the Cabinet Member for Planning, Transport and Development tell me the total amount of Section 106 money received and not yet spent and how much is still awaited as a result of planning decisions?  Do you have this as a Ward by Ward breakdown?

2: Can the information be shared regularly by the Cabinet Member and published so that all Council Tax payers are aware of the impact in their area?

1.1.2   In order that Members are better informed as to the current position with regard to received contributions, attached at Appendix One is a list of s106 agreements where the Council is currently holding money on behalf of infrastructure providers.

1.1.3   Members are advised that Officers are in the course of arranging meetings with the various infrastructure providers to establish the latest position with regard to the contributions held by the Council.

1.1.4   I can also advise intend in the future to report the latest position to Members on a quarterly basis.

1.2.1   That Members note the report for information.
