Change of address

If you have changed address or have bought or a sold a property in the Maidstone area, you need to tell us.

  • moving within the area
  • moving into the area from out of the area
  • leaving a property in our area

We will need to know:

  • the date you are moving or have moved
  • your new address
  • your old address

Landlords and tenants

When a tenant moves out of a property you need to let us know. This means we can bill the correct person. If you have a new tenant moving in straightaway we will send the new bill to them. If there is a gap in a tenancy then you will be liable for the period in between.

We will need to know the:

  • tenancy end date
  • date they moved out (if known)
  • full name of your tenants
  • where they have moved to (if known)

What happens next

Once we’ve been notified of a move we aim to process your request within 20 working days. Your account will be adjusted and you will be issued with a amended bill, which will show your new or closing balance.

Any payments you make by Direct Debit will be either refunded or transfer to your new bill.
