Change of address
If you have changed address you need to tell us. If you are:
- selling a property
- buying a property
- moving to a property
- moving out of a property in our area
We will need to know:
- the date you are moving or have moved
- your new address
- your old address
Landlords, agencies and tenants
You need to let us know when a tenant moves in or out of a property. This means we can bill the correct person. If you have a new tenant moving in straightaway we will send the bill to them. If there is a gap in a tenancy then you will be liable for the period in between.
We will need to know the:
- full name of your tenants
- tenancy start or end date
- date they moved in or out
- where they have moved to (if known)
What happens next
Once we’ve been notified of a move we aim to process your request within 20 working days. Your account will be adjusted and you will be issued with an amended bill, which will show your new or closing balance.
Any payments you make by Direct Debit will be either refunded or transferred to your new bill.
