COVID-19 Remembrance memorial

We are taking part in the Day of Reflection as a memorial to the people who lost their lives and anyone impacted by COVID-19. The National Day of Reflection will take place on Sunday 9 March when communities across the country have the opportunity to join together in commemoration of those who lost their lives during the pandemic. This online memorial is open to everyone to share memories and stories of their loved ones and to reflect.
In memory of: Shirley
Shirley was like my adopted grandma. Such a vibrant and lively person who was unfortunate to need a heart operation during Covid. She was so careful outside but picked up Covid in hospital like so many others. She sadly passed away and it breaks my heart that no one could visit her. This is in memory of her and so many like her.

In memory of: Gwyn Bowen
My heart is still full of tears, everyday without you is a challenge. If only I could hug you one more time.
