Food waste recycling is a massive benefit to the environment, its one of the best ways to reduce your personal carbon footprint.

All the material which is separately collected from houses around the borough is taken to a local treatment facility on the A228. In an average year we deliver over 4500 tonnes, all of which is treated and then re-used as a soil conditioner on local farms.
