Active and Completed e-Petitions

We have a Petition scheme, which sets out the procedures for submitting Petitions to us. This scheme can be found in the Constitution.

An e-Petition is a petition which collects signatures online. This allows petitions and supporting information to be made available to a potentially much wider audience than a traditional paper petition. A petition or e-Petition is a quick and easy way to bring issues to the attention of our Councillors and influence local decision making.

Anyone who lives in the Borough of Maidstone can submit or sign an e-Petition.

Please note that the search below will only show ePetitions submitted via the Council's website. Those submitted via other methods will not be displayed.

There are no current ePetitions

Supporting an e-Petition

To sign an existing e-Petition, you will need to choose an e-Petition from the list above. You will need to give us basic personal information to enable us to verify the 'signatures' collected are genuine. Your name (but no other details) will be published on the e-Petition website.

We will only use the information you provide for this purpose.

Submitting an e-Petition

An e-Petition can relate to any issue that we have powers or duties on or if we have shared delivery responsibilities through partnership arrangements.
