The
Cabinet Member for Planning Policy and Management introduced the
report and advised that the old ward boundaries mentioned would be
updated.
The
Principal Planning Officer advised that the steering groups had
been set up to carry out informal engagement on the Supplementary
Planning Documents (SPDs) to keep Members updated and provide
opportunities for feedback. The groups would be able to provide a
steer, help inform discussions and resolve critical
issues.
Members
were happy with the recommendation, but asked about how members of
the public would be able to participate. The Principal Planning
Officer advised that separate consultation would be made available
for other members of the community.
RESOLVED to RECOMMEND to CABINET: That
the Stakeholder Steering Group proposals, attached as Appendices 1,
2 and 3 to the report, be approved.
