Purpose:

Proposed adoption of Kent County Council parking standards as an interim measure until the adoption of a Supplementary Planning Document on parking standards following adoption of the Maidstone Borough Local Plan.

Decision:

That the Kent County Council: Kent & Medway Structure Plan Supplementary Planning Guidance SPG4: Kent Vehicle Parking Standards: July 2006 and Kent Design Guide Review: Interim Guidance Note 3: Residential Parking: November 2008, as set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Development, be adopted as interim parking standards as a material consideration for Development Management purposes.
