The Parking Services Manager
introduced the report and outlined the contents of and reasoning
behind the proposal.
The importance of and
environmental benefits associated with public transport were
highlighted. However, the Committee expressed concern at the
proposal and it was felt that alternatives options should be
considered.
RESOLVED: That
1.
No further action be taken; and
2.
Officers investigate alternative uses in the short
and long term, to be presented to the Committee at a later
date.
