The Committee considered the report of the Head of Housing and Community Services regarding changes to the Code of Conduct for dealing with Licensing Matters following the introduction of the new standards regime on 5 July 2012.

 

RESOLVED: That the revised Licensing Code, as attached at Appendix B to the report of the Head of Housing and Community Services, be agreed and the Council’s Constitution amended accordingly.

The Committee considered the report of the Head of Housing and Community Services regarding amendments required to the delegation of functions of the Licensing Act 2003 Committee to bring about parity in terms of representations related to the delegation for both Licensing and Gambling and also determining the method of operation by which the Licensing Authority would act as a responsible authority in respect of applications made for licences under the Licensing Act 2003.

 

RESOLVED: That the Delegation of Functions with the Constitution for the Licensing Act 2003 Committee be amended as set out at Appendix A to the report of the Head of Housing and Community Services.
