Changes in tenancy


You need to let us know when a tenant moves in or out of a property. This means we can bill the correct person. If you have a new tenant moving in straightaway, we will send the bill to them. If there is a gap in a tenancy, then you will be liable for the period in between.

We will need to know the:

  • full name of your tenants
  • tenancy start or end date
  • date they moved in or out
  • where they have moved to (if known)

What happens next

Once we’ve been notified of a change, we aim to process your request within 20 working days. Your account will be adjusted, and you will be issued with an amended bill, which will show your new or closing balance.

Any payments you make by Direct Debit will be either refunded, transferred to your new bill, or you will need to complete our refund form.
