If you are moving from a rented property or out of a household where another person remains who is responsible for the Council Tax bill you need to let us know. This may have been a family home or a joint household. If you were not responsible for the bill then you do not need to fill in this form.

We will need to know:

• the date you are moving or have moved
• your new address

Report a change of address

What happens next

Once we’ve been notified of a move we aim to process your request within 20 working days. Your account will be adjusted, and you will be issued with an amended bill, which will show your new or closing balance.

Any payments made by Direct Debit will be either refunded, transferred to your new bill, or you will need to complete our refund form.
