Carer permits

Residents in a permit zone, who have visits from a carer will need to apply for a carer’s permit. You will need to supply proof that you are in receipt of Attendance Allowance by providing an award letter confirming entitlement.

Cost

There are two types of carer permit applications:

• an individual carer which is free of charge
• a registered organisation can apply for up to five carer's permits. Each permit costs £20.

School permits

A school permit allows parents of children who go to East Borough Primary School to park in Sittingbourne Road car park for 15 minutes at the beginning and end of each school day during term time.

To apply for the permit or more information call East Borough Primary School on 01622 754633.

The permit will be considered invalid if the Civil Enforcement Officer patrolling the car park is subjected to abuse from the driver or their passengers, requiring payment to be made if continued use of the car park is required.
