Notice is hereby given that Maidstone Borough Council intend to make the above order under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, having obtained the consent of the Kent County Council in accordance with Section 39(3) of the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act -
The order will;
Revise the current tariffs contained in the schedules to the above order as shown in the tables below.

The Order was made on 10 March 2026 and will come into effect on 1 April 2026.
A copy of the made order, any orders which will be amended by the proposed orders, a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the orders, and indicating the location and effect may be examined on our website from Friday, 20 March 2026.
Any person wishing to question the validity of an Order or any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
