Full plans and building notices
The charge for full plans and building notice applications costs the same. You must pay before work starts. Inspections will not be carried out if your application has not been paid for and validated. All fees include VAT.

Regularisation
The charges below are approximate. You pay these fees once a surveyor has inspected the project and decided the price based on the complexity. All fees include VAT.

Refunds and cancellations
A building regulations application can be withdrawn if work has not started. You will not be refunded for the plan assessment charge (if applicable) and admin fee. An application that has not had a site inspection or any correspondence for more than two years will automatically be archived.
