Crisis and Resilience Fund

The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is a new scheme from the UK Government. It replaced the Household Support Fund, which ended in March 2026.

It gives short-term help if you are on a low income, struggling with money, or facing a sudden change. You can also get advice to help you manage money and feel more secure in the future.

Resilience services

We can help you find support and services to help you manage your money. This includes:

Housing payments

You may be able to apply for a housing payment if you get Universal Credit or a Housing Benefit.

Heating oil support

If you rely on heating oil and are finding it hard to pay, you may be able to apply for a one-off payment.

Household assistance fund

If you have a low income and need help to pay for essentials, you can apply for the Household Assistance Fund.

Community coordination

We are using some of the money from the fund to improve support in your area.

We are working with our voluntary and community sector partners to decide how this will work. This page will be updated when we have more information.
