Heating oil support
You could get a one-off payment of £300 if you use heating oil and cannot pay for more. You can apply if you live in Maidstone and:
- have a household income under £33,000
- have less than 150 litres of oil left
- get a means-tested benefit
How to apply
You must send us all of the following:
- a photo of your oil tank's gauge showing how much is left
- a bill or letter proving your home uses oil
- bank statements from the last three months
- payslips from the last three months
- proof of any benefits you get
- your National Insurance Number
Your application may take longer if you do not provide all the required documents.

What happens next
We will look at your application and email you with our decision. If approved, we will send your payment within seven days.
