That the reported figures for CO2e emissions from the
Council’s operations during 2010/11 which indicate an 8.58%
increase from 2009/10 be noted.

That the reasons behind the increase in emissions seen be
noted.
3.
That the publishing of the ‘Greenhouse Gas Emissions from
Local Authority Owned Estate and Operations
’ report set out at Appendix C of the report of the
Assistant Director of Regeneration and Cultural Services, which
outlines the greenhouse gas emissions from Maidstone Borough
Council for 2009/10 and 2010/11, and conforms to the format
requested by the Department of Energy and Climate Change be
agreed.
