The Council’s Strategic Plan, adopted on
10 December 2018, includes amongst its top four priorities the
ambition to make Maidstone a ‘Thriving Place’. This
means that Maidstone should offer an attractive environment for
business, thus attracting jobs to the area and the associated
benefits. Amongst the ways in which we will achieve this is through
direct investment to support the development of the local
economy
