The Group considered the report of the Head of Democratic Services regarding nominations to Outside Bodies

RESOLVED: 

i)  That the following nominations to Outside Bodies be agreed:-

a)  Action with Communities in Rural Kent – Councillors Nelson-Gracie and Paine for a term of 1 year from 1 September 2011.

b)  Kent County Playing Fields – Councillor FitzGerald for a term of 2 years from 1 October 2011.

c)  Local Government Association Rural Commission – Councillor Mrs Blackmore (Voting Member) and Councillor Parvin (Non-Voting Member) for a term of 1 year from 31 March 2011.

d)  Local Government Association Urban Commission – Councillor Burton (Voting Member) and Councillor Mrs Springett (Non-Voting Member) for a term of 1 year from 31 May 2011.

e)  Rochester Bridge Trust – Mr P Oldham for a term of 3 years from 1 June 2011.

f)  Town Centre Management Advisory Group – Councillors FitzGerald, Greer and Mrs Wilson for a term of 1 year from 31 May 2011.

g)  Vinters Valley Park Trust – Councillor Parvin for a term of 2 years from 7 September 2011.

h)  Voluntary Action Maidstone – Councillors Ash and Vizzard for a term of 2 years from 7 September 2011.

ii)  That nominations continue to be sought for the following vacancies:-

a)  Maidstone/Beauvais Twinning Association – 1 x Committee Member

b)  Relate West and Mid Kent – 1 x Committee Member

c)  South East Employers – 1 x Substitute Member

d)  Tourism South East – 1 x Substitute Member
