RESOLVED: That the
Joint Transportation Board be requested to investigate concerns
which have been raised about highway and pedestrian safety in
Roundwell, Bearsted; specifically, the need for a reduction in
traffic speeds to 30 mph, the limited forward visibility of
vehicles travelling along the road and the danger to pedestrians
having to cross Roundwell to the southern side as there is no
footpath on the northern side.
