Councillor Grigg left the room.

 

The Committee considered the report of the Head of Democratic Services regarding a proposed response to the government consultation paper on the Late Night Levy and Early Morning Restriction Orders.

 

The Committee discussed each response in turn and were informed that the responses had been collated following consultation with the police, the Community Safety Unit and the Safer Maidstone Partnership.

 

RESOLVED: That the draft response, as attached at Appendix 2 to the report of the Head of Democratic Services, be approved for submission to the Government in response to the consultation paper on the Late Night Levy and Early Morning Restriction Orders.
