Decision:
That the Council exercises its discretionary
powers under s13A(1)(c) of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 to
provide all recipients of working age Council Tax support (CTS)
during the financial year 2020-21 with a further reduction in their
annual Council Tax bill of up to £150; and
That in line with the Council Tax Support Scheme approved by
Council on the 18 December 2019, the calculation of Council Tax
Support for 2020-21 is amended to reflect the increase to the
Universal Credit (UC) standard allowance and Working Tax Credit
(WTC) basic element for one year from 6 April 2020, with the
changes to be mirrored in the needs assessment (applicable amount)
and income disregards for the purpose of calculating LCTS.

07/04/2020 - Changes to Civil Parking Enforcement ref: 1322 For Determination

Decision:
Changes to Civil Parking Enforcement as a
result of guidance from the Local Government Association and the
British Parking Association in response to the Covid-19
outbreak.
That the traffic regulation orders in relation to resident parking
bays and single yellow lines where waiting time is restricted for
30 minutes, are not enforced to support residents and business
until 1 July 2020.
That resident parking permits and business permits are valid in
off-street car parks to ease on-street parking demand until 1 July
2020.
That free parking concessions are applied in all off-street car
parks to provide parking for NHS and Social Care workers.
That the car parks at Mote Park, Cobtree Park and Lockmeadow are
closed to facilitate public social distancing in line with
Government guidelines.
