The Council has an established housing
allocations policy in place, that has been refined previously
through the decisions made by the Communities Housing and
Environment Committee. However, given the ever growing demand for a
largely finite pool of affordable housing in the borough, this
report undertakes a more fundamental review of the existing policy
and makes recommendations as to how it could be amended.
