Two additional letters have been received from neighbouring residents following consultation on the amended layout.  One letter of objection and one letter of support have been received. The comments are summarised as follows:

• This is the wrong place for a shop of this size.
• The road junction is busy and hazardous and the proposed parking spaces are dangerous.
• The introduction of an acoustic fence is welcomed, however a 3m high fence would be more appropriate.
• The revised layout has addressed previous concerns.

No additional comments have been received from Lenham Parish Council.
