Summary: This report is to update Members of the board concerning 20MPH Zones in Maidstone.
1. Please see table below showing information on each scheme, this table is up to date as of 11th October 2012.
Leeds School Scheme Installed
Ham Lane, Lenham Scheme Installed
West Street, Hunton Scheme Installed
Postley Road Works started onsite 10th October
Queens Road Works being marked onsite 15th October to install as soon as possible
2. Works are all due to be completed by the end of October allowing officers to monitor the effect of the proposals to seek whether the works have created a positive effect on the area.
3. Works are to be monitored this School year with a full update to be provided in the summer of 2013.
