Committee Work Programme 2023-24 & 2024-25 PDF 98 KB Minutes: The Democratic Services Officer introduced the item and explained that it contained the remaining items from the 2023-24 work programme as well as the known items for the 2024-25 work programme: · A SCRAIP for the completed Environment and Waste Crime Enforcement Review, expected to be finished for September after presentation to Cabinet; and · A Community Safety Plan Review due for October.
It was explained that the reviews on the work programme would be decided in the next item.
RESOLVED: That the Committee Work Programme be noted. |

Work Programming Report, 2024-25 PDF 154 KB Additional documents:
Minutes: The Democratic Services Officer introduced the report, and referenced the workshop held with the Committee as outlined in the report. The appendices to the report were outlined and it was explained that there was a strong steer to adopt the two new proposed scopes, and move away from the items in last year’s work programme.
In considering the topics for the 2024/25 work programme, the Committee supported adopting the CIL and Section 106 Review and a Planning Enforcement Review as topical issues that could use some clarity for Members and for the public. The Committee agreed to leave some flexibility and capacity in the work programme in anticipation of the release of the Cabinet Forward Plan.
RESOLVED: That the following items be added to the Committee’s Work Programme for 2024/25:
