Purpose:
That the Annual Report 2009 – 10 be approved.
Decision:
To consider approval of the Annual Report 2009-10.
Reasons for the decision:
To publish information to the public on the
Council’s performance and achievements over the last
municipal year.
The
Annual Report will be designed, placed on the Council’s
website, published within Borough Update in the Downsmail and distributed to
stakeholders.
A copy of the Annual Report can be found at Appendix A of the report of the Head of Communications.
Alternative options considered:
It is important that the Council provides the public with information about its performance; not to do so would go against the Council’s wish to inform and engage the public.
