• development on public highways and pavements, including obstruction of highways
• dumping of waste
• public footpaths overgrown or obstruction to public rights of way.
• work to trees on a public highway

Other areas

• asbestos or other dangerous/toxic substances on site
• causing harm to protected wildlife
• non protected trees or destruction of woodland (including ancient woodland)
• health and safety issues e.g. unsafe working on a building site

Boundary and covenant issues are a civil matter, you may wish to contact a solicitor for advice. You can check land ownership with HM Land Registry. Party wall issues will need to be dealt with a private building surveyor you can find out more on GOV.UK.
